SLEEP AND I'LL SING TO YOU

Sleep on my arms,
So I'll sing you silently.
My voice limit is narrow:
A throat and a tongue!

Sleep and abridge the world in a nap.
Let sleepiness, with a needle, knits the dreams,
Builds castles,
Decorating them with lightning
And takes you to a remote sky
As far as the wake and the sleep!

Pillow of roses
And a mattress spun with scent,
You and me and the night,
Sleep and let your hair rain softness
On my face.
Your hair is a blonde cloud!
